I see it as very deep. When everything seems lost, there comes strength in one form or other. Aloneness is a state of mind. And someone is always there for us. That someone is the self.

I loike the once is while thought. Because we don't realise the worth of that self unless it is really needed.

Sorry for taking up so much space. Maybe I am wrong here!

*grin*

Lorraine, I got something to say after reading Gautami's comment-- not necessarily to her, but just a thought...

The self is always there for us, we are the self....and as discerning, capable selves we should extend ourselves to support others....i mean if someone needs it....

and seeing only the self, sometimes makes us greedy that we grab everything for ourselves alone....which is wrong, as I think...

And, no one really lose/gain anything...we are all here to share our feelings, concerns et al, with mutual love and respect, i think

The message here reminded me of that vital reality that strikes me every moment!

thanks Lorraine,

Were you an aware teenager Dev, was the world not just about you? lol

That's not a thought shared while young, this one is the only one who saw another, not all teens are personnalities first..and Gautami, you can write as much as you want, anytime you want ;)

Nice thought Dev, and yes we are never alone, and sometimes I resent that, but with respect and love, indeed all can be overcome

PS, TOMORROW YOU 2 ARE REALLY GOING TO DISLIKE MY POST lol STAY TUNED ;)

hahaha!!

I really look forward to it, Lorraine! :)

as a teenager and always -- I was more with poets and writers who influenced my thoughts....and then my Communist father who always reminded us of the other lives around :)

They think they will live forever. One bang on the head and they will understand how precious life is.

But we do go on forever Michael, but we forget...I still don't like getting baned on the head ;)

I see it as being too self-engrossed forgetting there are others around - others that could help us or others we could help...like how you captured this photo of the bone boy alone.

Yep that's exactly it! I liked that he looked ;)

i don't know how i came up with this, but i opened up to the larger view to read the text more clearly, from the image i got 'every one's wearing sneakers' and then WOW; from the comments so much more; it was really nice reading all the other comments

_Grand, this civil thought of 'being aware of others,' Lorraine!
_Is it not plausible that, technology has sapped civility from some of we proles? Yet, there are often... times when that awareness is completely sensed, if not fully seen. _m

Uniforms form unique ones. But it is still their mind who decides which way to go. Love that, Lorraine.
