Lovely, Lorraine
I love wooden staircases....even if I am offered a lift, i love climbing the wooden stairway....we have it only in old buildlngs of the British era...and ofcourse, my convent had many :)

in fact, this photo reminds me of a locale at school...so fond, I was :)

love,
dev

OH nice! Great photo! I love anything old, barns, churches, houses. Those stairs are wonderful! They could tell an unwritten story! Lorraine you are my morning coffee:)

There is nothing better than coming out the door and walking down to a relaxing garden.

It is a lovely garden, and one well worth staring at.

Nice picture, appropriate verse. You made me interested in the people who use or used these stairs.

Best wishes

Great juxtaposition of the natural and man made worlds.
You should see the stairs on my back porch...I've fallen through a couple of times.

Un bien bel escalier qui me rappelle les maisons coloniales et qui donne sur un joli parterre de fleurs!
