This seems to be a very, very personal one, Lorraine. Is it an urn on the left? And has it got a connection with the boy on the picture? It makes me very thoughtful.

Best wishes
Ralf

it is dear Dev, about seventeen years ago, andthank you, his little hands are big men hands now, and I'll never forget the feeling of holding his little hand :)

I'm happy to report no harm ever came to my boy, he's a grown man, now almost 21, but his little hands, a treasure to remember, it's an Egyptian vase Ralf, who knows what's in there, maybe I should rub it, and a genie will pop out, how about world peace as a wish? lol thanks so much!

Lorraine said...

actually Ralf, it's probably a Chinese vase upon looking at it again lol I forget

I know that feeling well Lorraine, you never forget it,

i was mother to my niece for five years when my sister worked away from home...and she too is now nearing 21..i too can never forget those days -- those memories imparts so much of gentleness :)

You were an angelic beauty and your son a little prince :)

love,
dev

Lorraine ... i welcome seeing this image of you and your son. your presence even before i saw this image is one of pure joy. it never ceases to amaze me ... the things we remember of someone. i remember my lips brushing against my son's warm forehead when he was just a small boy.

That's a beautiful comment Dev, and I'm glad your niece had you, I don't look like that anymore, but my son, oh yeah, he's still a prince lol

Thanks for your beautiful comment Laure there are moments that are so previous, I'm glad you've had them too :)

You're modest...I don't believe you don't still look SOMETHING like that! Just more mature.

My Pleasure Arlene, he's such a sweetie, even now :)

I'm realistic Timoteo not modest, looks fade, part of life, and it's fine with me :)

Beautiful to catch a glimpse of 'you', Lorraine. And yes, I always thought it a cliche' but the years fly by :(

Remember when I said we looked the same? You're much prettier! But, we do love our sons the same!

This is such a pretty image, thank you for sharing this! It sure is amazing how time flies by..at a breakneck speed and leaves us breathless.. Warm memories from the past are like bright lights that still reach us from amidst the long and obscure tunnel of the years that pass..
