We live in a flood zone so I can't say I don't get a little worried when the rain goes on a little too long, but I do enjoy watching those little hummingbirds in the back yard flapping their little wings and dancing with pleasure as they shower in the raindrops!
This is always such a picture of summer for me, when the Queen Anne's Lace is abundant. There's a certain August smell too, which may be the grasses turning all crispy. How about the sounds of the crickets? I'm going to miss these things in a few weeks, but then we'll have the joy of Autumn and pumpkins and colorful leaves. Yippee!
Its stunning, the way you create wonderful ambiences and paint them with vivid colours through your strong wordplay... I just felt a whiff of tropical rainforest and the divine other worldliness of thundering rainfall...

Thanks very much Frank, it seems it's raining all over the world, that reminds me of one of my favourite songs called 'Rainy Nights in Georgia'
