There's a certain kind of woman who writes beautifully and who's afraid of opening up her heart again...is she worried of some assault? may the sun warm you too Dear Dev, but not too much ;)
Warm sand is soothing, thanks for your daily visit Brian, it means a lot to me and have a great saturday as well, I hope you find many top of the line toilets ;)
Lorraine my sweet...unlike me, some of my decisions seldom change...nor do i believe the world around me changes :)
I have an update at 'Essential Me' on Neruda...and the last line reminded me of you...read it when you have time, you might like his quote at the end :)
This reminds me of running. I used to run, a lot. I should start again, but now I have nothing to run from and nothing to run to. Sand is by the water and the water is where it's good to be. I love that photo Lorraine, it works on many levels.
Three of my family members rode bikes over a hundred miles today. I'm sure they would LOVE to be on a beach right now. Me too, and I didn't ride, not even one mile.
lol Timoteo, I'd sooner walk than ride a bike :) easier to take photos !
Thanks very much Val, I use to jog (inside) for a good 30 years, and recently my back won't allow, that is so weird, maybe that's what beaches are for lol
Indeed Laure, thanks very much :)
Sometimes you ride sometimes you don't, I'll always prefer swimming, tahnks a lot Lynne :) and yes he seemed quite comfortable !
Wow Dev I adore your post on Chilean poet Neftalí Ricardo Reyes Basoalto, alias Pablo Neruda...which I quoted here in case anyone is interested...He is fabulous, I love that the last line spoke to you )of me) thrilled actually. I adore that he wrote in the colour of hope, just how perfect is that. I find that the best teachers in the world, will never teach you right from wrong, but will 'let you' learn how to Love both. What can I say, thank you, I'll read more about him. And I see now that I'll have to read more of your posts, I really wish you'd open comments again. I don't like leaving comments of other's blogs on mine~
Oh thanks and You finally come to that again....My my dear friend, I understand what you mean...if you are really particular mail me my friend..please take this as a request and i "hope" you understand my sweet friend :)

Lorraine, great capture of everyday life. Glad you explained the bike or else I would be wondering why he wore that helmet around. :)
But he will get up and ride again. Life has to go on...
Haven't read that one yet Dev, I'll get around to it though :)
LOL who knows why we do the things we do, thanks a lot Ken
That's the way it is indeed Gautami, thanks a lot ;)
il n'a même pas quitté son casque ... il doit être vraiment épuisé ...
je pense que oui :) merci beaucoup Namaki !
I know you're tired of the ride, but you never forget how to get back on a bike...and it's still waiting there for you...

PS Forgot to say, this is a lovely shot. He looks like he is enjoying a bit of solitude.

Ah, beautiful words! Beaches are probably the best of places to "let go" and give in to the wholesome luxury of "resting"!
