It's all about where you choose to look! Isn't that so true of life? It's all in your perspective. :) Lorraine, I have to tell you, I looked through many of your old posts and I could have commented on every last one of them. I enjoy your work so much...each one says so much and the images are beautiful. Thank you for sharing your gift with the world! :)

If you can look past the weed, you can sometimes find the beautiful flower!

I concur with the above comments...beauty is wherever you want to look for it. Beautiful shot - would like to be on one of those boats about now...

My town is a constant work in progress, with road construction EVERYWHERE...it's kind of like a face lift--looks like hell during the construction phase, but a lot prettier when it's done! (And I'm sure you know, if we look for beauty--that's what we'll find.)

Wow..Amazing verse, and photo.. and yet again, a scope for multiple interpretations, I suppose.. Ignoring the harried instances, with a lot of disturbing "noise" and hustle... is what makes life's journey such a .. "navigative" experience.. You skim through the journey, meander away from such places...

when you see construction
bobbing up and down,
you know you're on a boat.

Très belle image Lorraine.
Tout dépend de l'humeur du jour. Un jour on voit tout d'abord le premier plan et le lendemain ce sera l'inverse!

Dev, sweetie you don't have to erase your comments, truly :) I understand that too, I saw the condition of the tiles underneath and oh wow they need changing...still I seem to live in the area where the main water tubes are, so I've been living with construction, explosion, drilling, everything, for the last three summers, I'm a little jumpy ;)and thank you sweetie!

Kristin, what a beautiful thing to say, thanks so much :)

So true, so wise dear Kathy ;)

They're pretty hey, sweet Janice, I've spared you and my dear visitors the sight of what it really looks like lol see my comment to Devika ;)

after writing some of my thoughts openly, i get a bit too nervous myself....can't always say how others will take it...

when living in a community all things need to be seen, i guess...i know you will understand me :)
