Beautiful photo, Lorraine :) words -- 'Sun eyes delight' - we seem getting adept at twisting nature and its laws as we proceed with our poetic pursuits :)
anyway, sounds great...if its going to leave a good majority happy! :)
Lorraine, I must say that I understand and appreciate your thoughts behind the post...and the courage to say that even if it meant a little twisting :)
and again thinking, man you're right...we objectify things to suit our literary/poetic pursuits: I really should have said: Looking up, I thank the Sun...Comfort ;)
ok, i thought i knew where this was going, then i read the comments and now i am confused, though i may be right but...i like the sun, i like delight, i like comfort...and i love the pic. smiles.
Hey Brian, stick to your first idea, they represent what you feel ;) oh and Dev is hard to understand at times until you get to know her, she's fascinating!
Now Dev, no swelling of the head, you fascinating creature you! to hell with your twistings lol
People will read into our words via thier own experience/filters/blinkers/associations etc and come up with totally unintended meanings, however didactic we try to be.
Difficult for me as well. Intellectual instruments don't help me here. But with a little bit of gut instinct this sun is reflectiing the lyrical I's thought: My group (us!) is having fun, the initiator is a bit jealous at the same moment.

ha! You know what my father used to say after hearing my argument (He was an advocate, too ) ---
First he would outrightly say --"You talk nonsense!" --- then after a bit of exchange --it would be like "You are right, but in the wrong way" :))
dev
That makes sense...and paying obeisance to Sun is part of tradition for us :)

Like this, Lorraine. In more ways than one.
