Stop the fear, dear and start planting trees! :)

Otherside is -- relax, Nature is abundance..and sustains life on itself, as well...but we have to bear the atrocities and its fury :)

What i can't bear to see is hurt inflicted on people...But what can i do about it...except easen it with words, or a little aid,

I don't understand when trees/animals are placed above human beings..whatsoever/howsoever deep that love is...but then think of it, well each one has a concern thats close to his/her heart :)

Grand photo, Lorraine...so cloudy..i can't see the wind :)

love,
dev

To cut a healthy tree is a crime, when people are hurt and are not sure if they can survive many will lean on a tree. I know when I was broken, I leaned on a tree, for love, for strength. Animals give you perfect, unconditional love...it is our duty to make sure they are protected. I'm glad you enjoyed the photo ;)

Well in that sense okay...like i've always felt a wall was better than a human shoulder to lean on (tree ofcourse responds much more --and then you build a kind a responsiveness-- that finally if the tree falls before your time...you feel lost again ---I have gone through that...so many trees have turned into firewood already

...I used to often go near the sea, or the river when i was broken...nothing used to pacify me like that :)

But then if someone-- a human being--would give a shoulder unconditionally...how beautiful is that...I try, but then...we feel so helpless sometimes! :)

i imagine nature will be around well after our infestation is blown off the face of the earth...

I think of all the grand elms from the last century that are gone due to disease and it is heartbreaking. All those avenues that are no longer shaded. I've read that there are many species dying along the Appalachian Trail as well. There are several grand old maples in our area that we consider friends. We go to visit them every fall to make sure they are ok.

I see the tree bent in the wind.. and the sky has opened up and cried down upon its boughs.

The trees will outlive our species.

what a beautiful house!
and trees are so organic, breaking pieces off, losing leaves every fall, falling over when the soil gets too wet, or when the wind blows too hard.
i wonder which lives longer, the tree or the house?

Very nice, Lorraine. That house is amazing! Beautiful photo and thought-provoking words. There are always new housing developments going up in my growing little town...and I hate nothing more than when they go in and wipe out all the trees first thing. No matter how pretty the houses, I would never want to live in a neighborhood with no trees!

La maison est superbe et l'arbre sera certainement un danger pour elle un jour! Alors le choix sera cornélien...

Hi Dev, I get you, but sometimes to lean on someone you need to share of yourself, and I found that although I can share pleasure, I can't share pain..

Infestation Brian, oooo...we can be dark indeed, you show so much warmth

Kathy, I love your comment, and yes I think that the love we have for them, will keep them alive, every has to realize it before they're gone, let's give them a prayer or a sweet thought every morning x

Oh Ken that is beautiful, do you have a blog?

I hope so Michael ;)

Seraphine, lovely thought, I don't mind that nature shapes trees, it's when they're cut down by our hands, that it breaks my heart :)

I'm with you there sweet Kristin, thanks for the thoughfull comment :)

How lovely to see you here Yoshiyuki, thanks very much :)

Oui je peux voir ou quelqu'un choisirait leur maison, mais quel dommage...
