i disagree. i think things - heavy burdens- happen to people, and some never recover. physical or emotional trauma burns out some people's inner light or changes them forever.
for most people, you are right lorraine. the inner light doesn't die. but it isn't always the case.
it's a good reminder, though, to be kind to others, and to be forgiving and understanding.
that precious light needs to be nurtured sometimes.

This is lovely. We sang a song at my church this past Sunday about the fact that no trouble in this life is so great that it can seperate us from the love of God...The times in the past when I have felt seperated from Him have been because I wasn't looking or felt too weak to look...but he was there. The inner light, my all-in-all, just waiting on me faithfully to remember to give him my troubles and rest in Him. Sorry this is so long...but the poem really spoke to me and I wanted to share. :) It's such a comfort to know that my circumstance cannot ever take that away from me.

Our Soul can't be hurt by anything Brian, I've finally understood that :)

Thanks very much Sam :)

Glad you enjoyed Gillena, thanks a lot for dropping in :)

I agree Seraphine with your view BUT the Light as in the Soul cannot be harmed in any way, that I've learned, and to those whose light seem to have been snuffed out forever, will find it again..one way or another.

Oh please Kristin, you could write a chapter on my blog and I'd cherish each word :)

Oh j'adore, j'adore ton commentaire Allan :)

Merci enormement Richard :)
