"Fire and Ice

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I’ve tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.

Robert Frost"

your inspiring post made me think of these lines..
Warmth, I think, would be symbolic of reassurance, of comfortable sustainence.. And quite obviously, these are stuff we prefer, and rightfully so..
But, to really release our soul, we need those magically "crazy" moments.. few instances that border on the extreme... like a whiff of great, liberating wind... or an icy, biting ambience..

Again that tree that fascinated me in another of your shots! The photo is.....heartwarming! Why? just because we're ONLY at the beginning of winter, so....there's still hope left in our souls.....
