Yes, i too...it doesn't take a minute from our cosy couch to be homeless and under the debris...May we not forget, Haiti was sad,

I can't help but think of loners out there without a home, surrounded by people in pain, that's harsh..to feel so much that you have to hide, it's not easy, I pray for those

and thank you Dear Dev :)

I know Lorraine..i cannot stand to watch the news...not just this, any sad/bad news -- if we look around, most of what we see in hardship!...and we know there's no end to it,

prayers, hoping our prayers will give them solace,

Agreed Dev, prayers are powerful..it is only doubt that stops them from doing what we can't do!

...there are so many, and we echo your prayers.

Stricking, heartful post, Lorraine. _m

I seldom doubt! but then i reinforce my prayers with hope that God accepts it...because I do not know why God choses to give such hardships to people, who are already suffering --

If He has some good reason (that doesn't mean I expect Him to act insanely), perhaps there's a chance that my prayers won't be heard --

well, its a kind of "given the chance that" -- the lawyer in me sometimes overtakes the believer :))

mmm...heavy on my heart as well...i have spent quite a bit of time among the homeless...

Thanks Doug, means a lot to me :)

Dev, no matter what a prayer (to me) will always go where it is most needed, because no matter what no matter how spiritual or not, everyone can use a hug, virtually or mindfully

I know you've seen your share of horrors, you have a kind heart and a brilliant brain :)

Devika Jyothi said...

I don't disagree, Lorraine...to each his/her own...and its the belief in the self/God which matters...and the mindfulness to help..and reach out by prayers or by action :)

Oh definetely and I wasn't arguing, I promise, sometimes your comment will spur a thought from my brain, and it's a good thing, and it's certainly not in opposition to anything you say, well most of time lol and then I specify it lol

Devika Jyothi said...

Yeah, happens...i know :)

i don't mind the opposition; and i wouldn't argue :)

this quote is from Dev

you made me smile, thats good, cause the comments are so humane, and heartfelt, so profund, and touching; in the wake of present pain, as the world responds to Haiti; but God is God, we, mere mortals, even though the scripture tells He loves us more than the sparrows...

Devika Jyothi said...

Yeah Gillena...GOD is GOD,

There are times i've felt that i could be the most hated, as there are times i have felt i could be the most loved....

well, now i know things happen for some reason, we do not know...Its easy to transfer responsibility to God, and as far as we are given the strength to take it, its okay, i guess :)

Une belle lueur d'espoir Lorraine. Je pense souvent à ces sans abris, particulièrement en ce moment où le climat est si rude!
