Oh Percy of Big Faith - Translation in English, compliments of Not Moi!

Imaginez le scenario
d'un bain public
vu de tout haut
Sans ombre sans rideau
ou se baigne de sursaut
un homme nu, le seul et unique
homme de risque
Je vous annonce
Sir Percy Bisque

Here then, Be Lady Lorraine’s poem, from above on this thread, as translated from her French into the English Language.

OMG – Magnificent!

Imagine the scenario
Of a public bath seen on high
Without shade without curtain
Where a naked man starts to bathe
Singular man of risk
I announce to you Sir Percy Bisque.

Not that he needs any introduction. He ought to rot in obscurity!

I was trying to decipher what you meant when you told Sir Percy he was "big." Never mind...this poem explains it all! ;)

I like this. I needed the translation, but think it sounds so much better in French. Probably everything sounds better in French.

Ah, Sir Percy! A legend in his own bathroom!

Dev, I do adore my Sir Silley, makes me laugh like nothing else and other things ;)

Brian, he's quite wonderful, I must say, and a pleasant change from my melancholic stuff ;)

Oh Ms. Tripathy, you trip me like no one else, seriously I laughed so much i tripped lol

Kathy, if not, there should be!

You're a sweety Gillena, of course now Sir Silley, thinks you have a thing JUSt for him, but that's Sir Silley for you!

and yet nothing silly about this request, Sexy Tri-focals...makes me doubt myself, doth not like that!

J Cosmo, oh I do like thy comment, thanks for the visit, it was great fun ;)

Margie, so nice to see you back from San Fran, I swear if you want to laugh out loud, you have to visit Sir Silley daily, I sweat, I haven't laughed that much since Henry the Adequate...May God rest his Soul

No worries Tim, did I not say you were a giant before, hmmm i mean didn't I call you GREEEEEAT!

Talon, bonjour Mademoiselle, quel plaisir tu as des accents! c'est merveilleux, can't find the darn things on my laptop, makes it hard to substantiate my claim that I'm French, tu sais?

Dear Arlene, only 'cause you're not French lol

J Cosmo you're back and cracking me up, ' a Legend in his own bathroom! Can I steal that, pretty please?

Firstly, I can't believe I missed your blog all this while, you have my apologies.. I've been "absent" for long, again, and it sure feels nice to get back to your wonderful poetry.

Lady Lorraine (for hence, I'll call you so) I never saw the connection! From the demure, philosophic poet, to .. .. uh, naked poetry, and that too on someone as Great Sir Percy Silly! I pay my tributes to versatile you.

Versatile me I like that tDL, once one of my managers said I was an all around gem, I like that! Thanks you lol although technically I'm more all-around, than I was back then ;)

My dear, I can attest to how MUCH better the French version is...and so eloquent! You have surpassed yourself--
