when i worked, weekends were a definite look forward to; it still is, but now that i am retired the mood is different, i look forward to going to church mainly; particularly since my socialising has cut down considerably, not with any regret; just living a different lifestyle, now thah im more so a 'nettie'
Life is what we make it. And some love to have hangovers - they chill in their own self-pity. Your lyrical I is not of this kind: it is just like it needs the everyday-business for _not_ to have too much time to think. Makes me think!
