it is easy to turn a blind eye to that which we become too accustomed to. Having grown up in the country, i hated it for years. Though the older i have gotten, the more i have appreciated it.
I go back periodically to see the old house and barns. If it were in my power, I think I would still want to live there. I am so tired of the city and all the cars and noise!

"Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears" (because they no longer see!!?) :)

It's sad. Economically, the farms are struggling. I wonder how many leave with happiness and how many leave with sadness and deep regret.

Happy Thanksgiving, btw!
Unfortunately, farmers are under-appreciated and often can't earn a decent living.
beautiful photo, warm and romantic
C'est vrai que ces vieilles fermes sont superbes!
Mais peut-être ne sont-elles plus suffisamment confortables?
Bonne journée

I love this, being a country girl, it took age to apreciate the country. I love this pic, old barns are one of my favorit pics to take.
