That sounds like the red light here at our junction....it seldom works; when it works no body looks at it...But it's not a crowded junction...so no major accidents,

Keep left and drive right, Lorraine :)

love,

Oh! "Keep left" is our traffic rule...don't know how it's in your country :)

Oh we're very good at obeying the light especially the red one but on ice, anything goes and no, then the lights don't matter at all

Gosh, but that is one frigid looking photo! Brrr! Are you getting the same intense cold there, Lorraine? Oh, I wish Spring were a little closer!

this is rather forboding...as i thought of a red streetlight and if it fails it could be disasterous...

Dev we drive on the right side lol

Talon it is MINUS 34, it's the cold the worse cold then it'll get warmer we'll forget until the next ime, arrrh but still cold or not I will always sleep better in the cold thank in the heat :)

Brian it fails all the time, that' snot a concern, We Canadians are thoughftful most of the time and when the light is not working it's a four corner and we take turns...THE problem is when the ice is so bad that the light could be as red as it wants and we're still not going to be able to stop and will slide right by...

I like the possibility of this poem: what happens when the warning fails...there's a sense of impending catastrophe - a kind of quiet atmosphere.

Another great match! I don't know which is more ominous, the words, or photo.

Ice, the one really bad thing about winter - hope everyone makes it through the intersection with no problems...

i don't think sentinel warning works for red lights, just against radar when you are speeding. i think they are illegal in california but nobody pays attention to red lights here anyway.
