Nice post, Lorraine. They are icicles? At first glance I thought they were twigs hanging down...

Ice everywhere! And it is snowing again! Love the blue sky filled with cottony clouds.

Thanks very much Brian, it'll look better tomorrow when you can see the entire photo without the gibberish on the right ;)

Icicles my dear Frank, must not walk under when it gets warm lol

Me too Kathy it's like storybook cottonny clouds that you can sleep on, in fact when I was little I use to dream about riding on a beautiful cloud and throwing sparkles of happiness around the world, I was a sweet child

Gorgeous capture of cloud and ice, Lorraine. I wish we had some of those blue skies peeking through...

Great view of the sky cotton through the icicles, gives a more poetic.

__Such a metaphor; the icycles and the clouds; each are water shown in their contrary forms against the Sun's blue back drop.

Fine one LL, _m

I have to smile (and push away some crazy thoughts ;-). Of course I ask myself how many layers you will find in your post, Lorraine?

Best wishes
Ralf

I kind of get an upside down feeling, with an evocative title to help with the mystery.

It is like the ice is getting sucked into a vortex.

On first glance, it struck me as tentacles from some space monster reaching down from the sky! Very artistic photo !

really it's too long and slim Tim, your interpretation always amazes me.
