Lovely, Lorraine :)

'Citizen of the World' - An ancient Sanskrit verse says: 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam' translated as 'entire world is but one single family' -- said before even aeroplanes and ships were invented,

And today we live in Marshall McLuhan's 'global village' as he says in 'Understanding Media' -- worth reading...i've read only here and there for an article reference,

While the real situation still could be much different from what we dreamers dream -- I loved this post, Lorraine :)

love,

In the sense, 'A citizen of the world' is a dream for me...and it could be a possibility in future for all? I like to imagine so :)

That is so beautiful Dev, thank you

You know McLuhan is a Canadian, no? He predicted the coming of world wide web around 30 years before its invention.

i like to think to how they foresaw...and 'citizen of the world' could be a beautiful reality in the virtual world; despite all differences :)
