Interesting post, Lorriane, and ominous shot...I am not sure of moon hurting us with every friend, because moon has always been seen as a friend to talk to, even on a new moon :)

and those last lines, may be you have said it before...rejoicing alone-I am afraid mine won't last long...i need to connect with friends and family, and society; ofcourse sometimes one does it alone in the belief all is well, with every one...there we could be on same lines :)

love,
dev

Moon in the meaning of turning into a new night , that's when we cause pain or when it goes to sleep, either way we should all be so much more loving, thanks my dear first and second always x

love begets love - and then there should be no pain too-...but may be that's not the way of the world always...but come on Lorraine, sleep is a good refreshment :)

i would agree we need to be all the more loving...and bc many are not it can be hard to live among...it has got to start somewhere...

That last stanza...it's heartbreaking and beautiful, Lorraine. This whole poem leaves me wanting to weep.
