On a recent canoe trip, my hubby and I felt like the world was our own. We didn't see anyone else on the river at all which is generally not the norm. Like you say, Lorraine, how strange.

Maybe the vacation season is over. Lots of schools have started down south.

I always welcome a good lack of people.

It's funny how I can equally identify with both ends of the spectrum. Most of the time, I too, thrive on people (like Brian), but there are those times when solitude calls my name (like Michael). I guess I'm a walking contradiction like that. ;) Love it. Hope all is well, friend!
Sincerely,
Kristin

Not me dear Brian I thrive on a total lack of people lol

So Talon, it's just not here, it's everywhere, it's weird, but I like it lol

BAMA this is were we differ, I love people...I just don't want to see them

Margie, don't scare me like that just how long are you going for? geesh...my tooth hurts

Sandy even in the full heat of weekend at the beach, no one...weird

That makes two of us Michael

Contradictions my sweet Kristin means you're well balanced, I on the other hand am totally unbalanced I never want to see people, but I love them.....;)
