THAT REALLY SUCKS...but when all the love is in your heart, you are supposed to give up the self and embrace the world; whatever the consequence may be - the solace is you are always held by the hands of God himself! (NOT MAN PLAYING GOD)-- but ONLY for those who believe in God, perhaps....and must also know God seldom plays to our tunes, howsoever a believer one may be...making it all a funny game of life :)

I didn't by any chance mean God discriminates between betlievers and non-believers.
I was saying of how believers think they are in the hands of God...it is aimed at non-believers who would never accept if you say they are in the hands of God...
well, this world has space for all...just that one needs to be strong enough to see it through...and light enough to live it through - the heavy may find it difficult :)
yeah, getting hugs is important...and it does suck to have to hug yourself...hope you get your hugs L...it is important as well to self love and not beat yourself up...

kidding aside - now have a hug from me....My dear Lorraine, you have to move outside to real world (not this 'virtual' world), show some kindness to the suffering and you will feel the hug - even if they don't hug you with open arms...That is the power of real..this is virtual world - how would one make you understand!
Now don't tell me you felt my hug! :) see, it all sounds very funny to me, because i really don't see anything in hugging oneself or other :)
love for me is a good or kind word from afar - that's enough!
It is kind of hard to self hug but being kind to ourselves and forgiving of our mistakes along the way, that's something that's worth striving for. I'm through with beating myself up!!! sending LOTS of hugs your way dear L!

Lorraine, wish I could give you a big hug. You're right, though, we have to love ourselves first before we can love anyone else.
