Innocence (Inspired by my son when he was 4, he is 24 today)

Carefree
Leaves in the tree
Trace the outline of your face
Its innocence
forever
etched in the
shadows of the leaves
I see it sway
Develop with
the breath of the wind
But innocence
returns
If I look away
From any angles

You're never changed

lovely...happy birthday to him...it is fun to see the innocense still in our kids...the carefree way of leaves...and glad you still see it beyond the angles....happy friday L!

This couldn't be more lovely, Lorraine. My youngest son just turned 25 last Friday and you are so right - the little boy is always inside them and we catch those heart-stopping glimpses...
