From the mountains
I've yearned to hear
Echoes from my soul
Through yesteryears

Whispers of the Eternal promise

But I can only stay
A step or two

Oh, its deep...
how do we know how long we stay, but can't we all live and love the maximum till then?

& then the soul eternally longs for all good friends, our love....and it stays our words, through generations,

What a haunting verse and so full of individual interpretations. The best poetry is always this way.
