Any vantage point give a dark view and a clear view...no matter where its positioned, Its our choice to see, we can seek both if we want from the same point...but end up in a mental asylum! :))
no, i said it as a joke...but you will know if it isn't a joke if you have been tested by life and God! :)
You may even disagree with me..the choice is always yours :)
Ooo a challenge from Dev...everyone's been tested sweetie, everyone's suffered, and sometimes it's easier being in the dark than the light, because being in the light and losing it is the worse pain of all ;)
Oh no I shouldn't have said that second para...but you know, i too have faced the allegation of dancing with life...and for my nature, I damn care to prove otherwise, especially if it doesn't affect me..
in life the twists and turns aren't easy as with dancing..but then one gets the lessons from life itself :)
love it. so true. it is a daily struggle for me recently. we can look at what we do not have and get into a pretty miserable mood, often forgetting that which we do have. in the light today though.
Lorraine, Your "Second post today" showed up in my Google reader, but don't see it on your blog. Would like to discuss this with you, and perhaps an exchange of e-mail addresses would work for that...you can reply on my latest blog post if you like.
Hi Timoteo, basically I like to get things by mail, form all over the world, so sometimes I seek ways, then just change my mind, you're a gentleman, thank you ;)
i like the concept of choice intimated here: given options; and the lone chair stating that only the persona is responsible after having made the choice
The concepts of dark and light go real deep.. you framed your words so well.. We live in a world governed by a lot of parameters, many of which even we don't know.. we've been taught to be stereotypical right since being toddlers. We have this mental demarkation which we use to differentiate between "good" and "bad" and inevitably "darkness" gets associated with everything "bad"! I think its a facade we are made to put up with, albeit, unconsciously.. if the deceptive layers somehow vanish, I'm sure we'd be startled, nay, shocked to see many of the so called good, brighter stuff turn a few shades darker.. while the conventional dark stuff pale considerably!
My personal trainer says: don't talk, just do it. My personal psychologist says: don't talk, just make up your mind. And my personal writing coach says: don't talk, just tell your story. And - dam'ned - this is what I do here: a simple picture and a simple verse make a brilliant set.
Best wishes Ralf

It never matters if you know how to get up after a fall...or turn after a twist, dear Lorraine
The dancer in you knows, i guess...i don't know how to dance, but know some basic steps...so its easy in the light as well! :)

A nice set Lorraine. However, the lone chair makes me feel rather sad...

Dev, when all is down, dancing is the only cure ;) well put
Don't Frank, it's inviting you to sit ;)
Oh don't take it back Dev, it was brilliant...
thanks Lorraine :)

HA...HA!!! The answer is to be flexible and move that chair so it suits what you are looking for at any given moment.
This is a daily battle for me. I love the way you did this and the way you placed the words. Good stuff:)

The voice of reason, lol love it, thanks Kathy :)
thanks for the lovely compliment dear Cindy :)
Thanks for those very wise words Brian, sometimes we need someone to remind us ;)
wow ! I wonder where you get all this inspiration ! This is great !
Wow...one of your most elegantly simple and profound posts.

Thanks a lot Nancy, it's a beautiful comment :)
Well I'm glad you liked it Timoteo :)
Hi Timoteo, basically I like to get things by mail, form all over the world, so sometimes I seek ways, then just change my mind, you're a gentleman, thank you ;)
today my personal preference is to sit in the dark (as in shade) facing the light. i like the choices here.

You have such an amazing way with words.
quite a question....
Une bien belle image Lorraine. Voilà un fauteuil qui peut être positionné en fonction de l'humeur du moment!
Laure, you got the good sense to do so lol thanks sweetie :)
I have wise visitors, Ilike that, thanks Gillena :)
So astute and well said Dark Lord, I like it!!!
Love that lovely compliment Michael, thank you, means a lot to me :)
Agreed, it would be so much simpler if Life came with straight directions, instead, right...left! dark ;)

LOL oh that was precious Ralf, lol thanks so much and I'm very happy for you for your 17 years with your 'good-for-me' :)
Lorraine, great literal contrast dilemma. Can I face the dark half of the time and the light the other half??
Absolutely Ken, you can sit wherever you want lol ;)
