There's nothing left of me
that I recognize
Unless the breeze whispers
and the river flows

I no longer see
Unless the sky is pink and blue
and the Reflection blinds me

Beneath the blue skies
and a blatant sun
i stand on my shadow

I have won the battle against myself long before.....Accepting life as it comes is hard?

I wish you could see your way through Lorraine :)

love,

Dev,How weird that it did not take my comment, if you had won the battle against yourself, you wouldn't be here...love the poem ;)

yes, but i should say Lorraine...i came to blogosphere without really knowing what it was! (My husband said it was fun out here..meeting some of the finest people across the world --

Truly i didn't explore it before I started on my own and had some good lessons....Not of myself, but of the world!

Now that I know both I plan to be here! :)(well its not a very recent now!)

it's true. sometimes we get lost in the "every day" and it takes somebody to touch you oin the shoulder, or a sunset to "wake you up" again. which is another way of saying, sometimes we have to stop and smell the roses or the journey is wasted.
hugs for the reminder, lorraine.
