Very nice post Lorraine. I like the starkness of the almost monochrome picture...

I'm so very glad I'm not scared of storms ;)
that will happen in Spring...the colours that is!

Thanks very much Frank, it was almost a total wipe-out, thank God for trees :)

I once faced and escaped death when a tree fell with all the electric wires coming down with it...I was electrocuted and thrown a few feet away...was about 11 or 12 years...and since then I have been afraid of storms,

In Delhi too, our bus once escaped narrowly from a huge tree trunk falling on it!

Now sitting inside my home, I don't mind the stormy weather...its only when I have to go out I am afraid :)

Ouch Dev, poor dear, I'd be terrified too...and yet no snow storm for all that damage, imagine that! Well now I feel borish and self-pitying of the worse kind!

And I love your words, Doug :) you know it!

It's not stopping Brian, and when you consider that March is the month of storm, I have to wonder what we're in for ;)

That I can do Margie, at least with the snow we're getting, still and always, it's warmer, so I forebear ;)

Talon, you visited me again, I'm so happy, tell me about it, it's just not stopping, if it weren't for my super nice neighbour with the snow remover, my house would be an igloo :)

Thanks sweet Sam, it's snowing again, what to do...good thing it's pretty, but I'm running out of shooting ideas...well there are always my cats lol

Ah, beautiful perspective (makes me sad I missed out on such a lot all this while). The morning after the storm, benign, quiet, but with that certain, unmistakable undercurrent of violence that is unsettling, fearful.

TDl, that's beautifully put, I'm just happy to report that I have no fear of snow, darn good thing too, or I'd be scared half the year lol
