Photos, always...and coffee forever
what a photo is that :)the words are the essence of a stanza from Bhagwad Gita, "Whatever you took, you took from God. Whatever you gave, you gave to him. You came empty handed, you will leave empty handed. What is yours today, belonged to someone else yesterday, and will belong to someone else the day after tomorrow. You are mistakenly enjoying the thought that this is yours. It is this false happiness that is the cause of your sorrows."rejoice in me says the God...man says he won't...he needs a hundred other things :)love, dev
A lovely post, Lorraine...
Oh lala Hey Dev, I knew I heard it before, but I had to write it, had no choice...weirdThanks a lot Frank :)
yes, reminders are needed sometimes :)love, dev
LL,__There is an explanation in my blog comments for you. I seems to fit some... with your nice post today. >what you once had, was never yours< _m
yep i agree Dev I think we've learned all we need to, but we need to remember ;)I get thatnow, Doug, awesome and thank you :)
Lorraine, very thought-provoking. And so very true. When we really think about what is "ours" - the only thing we can truly give is of spirit.
no it wasnt...but i can give what wasnt mine...at leaast to hold for the time being..smiles. nice mix today L!
Children are taught more and more not to do their best but BE the best, taught that winning is what counts, and that they are the most important person in the world...is it any wonder then that we have become a "ME" and "MINE" world?
Never give anything precious to someone who cannot recognize it as such.
